About Me
Azania Salazar is a lifelong Texas resident who has lived in the Pearland area for the past eight years. As an educator and mother, Azania understands firsthand the benefits that having access to a high quality education can be had for our children. She is a dedicated Social Connections educator in Pearland ISD and is the mother of three incredible children who attend schools within the district.
Azania has a deep commitment to the community and to the success of every student in Pearland ISD. As the mother of a special needs student, she will be a strong advocate for policies that prioritize student needs and supporting teachers and staff. She is running as a trustee for Pearland ISD to ensure every child is prepared for a remarkable future.
Why I'm Running
As a parent of 3 who are all active in different programs offered in Pearland ISD, Azania believes that every child deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for future success. As a current SPED educator within our district, she has seen first-hand challenges and opportunities in our schools. As a parent of a child receiving special education within our district, she is passionate about advocating for policies that prioritizes student needs and supporting teachers and staff with the resources they need to succeed.
